Neo TA Charts - Help

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Neo TA Charts takes that to an extreme with the implementation of neoclassical thought finding supply and demand on the charts to help you improve your timing and keep you pointed in the correct direction.

Neo TA charts goes where no other charting services dare to venture - into the neoclassical world and exposes those key concepts visually. This component integrates with most other components as well and much more as you will find out in this help video.

Important Note: 

To get all the charts to pop-up by default, make sure to enable pop-ups for tatoday.com from your browser. Google or Grok how to do that for your specific browser. If the are not enabled, you will either see no pop-ups or only one - the Trading Cube pop-up.

 

Features:

  • Fundamentals
    • If you hover over the stock name/symbol and click the link which will pop you into the fundamentals data for that symbol. 
  • Chart Buttons
    • RTRG - Retest and Regenerate is a basic concept in neoclassical theory. Clicking the RTRG button will show all bullish and bearish zones.
      • Bullish ones show as solid lines.
      • All zones are color coded based on whether the zone has been tested. Zones with a count of 
        • 0 are colored Magenta
        • 1 retest is colored Teal
        • More than 1 retest is colored Orange
      • Bearish ones show as either dashed, dotted or dash-dotted lines with the same coloring scheme. See below: 
      • Dashed lines where 0 retests and colored Magenta
      • Dotted lines where 1 retest and colored Teal
      • Dash-dotted lines where more than 1 retest and colored Orange
    • ABCD - Clicking this button will display all ABCD projections that currently exist - bullish and bearish. When set in the "User Profile", it has the effect of automatically popping up the ABCD table when using the watchlist. In this situation, the toggle button is no longer displayed on the chart. From the standalone single stock approach, it has no affect on automatic display but can be toggled on and off from the chart. 
    • Support and Resistance - Clicking this button will display all current bullish and bearish support zones. 

Additional Notes:

To set and save the position of each chart window on your desktop, do the following:

  • Open the watch list tool
  • Select a watch list
  • Select "Show All Charts" - this will pop up the 4 charts (if not, enable pop-ups for tatoday.com)
  • Now arrange your charts on your screen (size and position)
  • Finally, click on "Save the current window locations" - this will save these values permanently
