Shared Watchlists

At TA Today, watch lists can be shared between users. L.A. uses this mechanism to share special watch lists with all members as he sees worthwhile. This is an introduction into those watch lists and how you can use them to your advantage.

The watch lists are shared watch lists. To access, just hover over "Choose Tool" then click on watch lists. Here's a link on how watch lists work and can be a valuable aide in your trading.

Here's a short video on shared watch lists and how to access them

Post Earnings Shared Watch Lists

Most every day, there are some companies reporting earnings. With more than 7000 stocks tracked in the TA Today portfolio, earnings are happening all the time. TA Today programs automatically pull stocks with earnings and place them into a file for review. L.A. reviews the earnings and, if the stock charts show merit and the earnings were positively received, then that stock symbol is place onto a shared Earnings watch list and kept around for review for a couple months.

These special watch lists are uniquely named for convenience. All post earnings watch lists have the following convention:

LALittle: Earnings-yyyymm

Selecting a watch list shows all stock symbols where reported earnings were favorably viewed and the general structure of the chart over all time frames is promising.

Here's a short video describing the process and the kinds of results that could have been realized following a simplistic rule to buy or short sell on the open two days after earnings print and the market reactions are witnessed (at TAToday we wait for one day to see the reaction so buying/short selling the next day is the earliest the trade could be made).

Of those stocks, if they have a good set-up and show promise across all time frames, then they are added to the shared Trading Signals watch lists for your benefit.
